Sometimes when you send a correction or rejection to CHEP you will get an email back with the following comment:
The docket number XXXXXXXXXXXXX docket doesn’t exist and cannot be corrected."
The main reason for this is that the original transfer is to a Receiver Declare account and they have not declared it to CHEP. CHEP have no knowledge of it so they cannot correct it.
In the PalletWatch system if you want to reject the original transfer then you can just clear the export and cancel the docket. If it is a correction then you can clear the export and edit the docket. If you do edit the docket then you may need to contact the receiver and let them know what you have done.
